Recommended to kids ages 11-13. Well, I have to start out by telling you about Mrs. Starch. You see, Mrs. Starch is a biology teacher. But not just any biology teacher. She is the scariest teacher at Truman School. She hasn't missed a day of school in over 18 yrs. So when she runs back into Black Vine Swamp while there is a wildfire going on and doesn't return, Nick and Marta don't buy the story about how she is away because of a family emergency. They decide to find out just why she is away. They want to know the REAL story. But where do they start??? Back at the Black Vine Swamp? This story will appeal to both boys and girls.
